STORM IN A TEACUP
"Storm in a Teacup" is an installation piece comprised of video and a soundtrack. Originally displayed in a dark room in Brighton University the goal for this project was to place the audience into the tumultuous environment of a storm. Using extremely low bass frequencies I created tones designed to vibrate throughout the room and within the audience, attempting to mimic the feeling one might experience during an intense thunderstorm.
MONUMENT
"Monument" is a short video piece I made intending to document a period where my practice was being split between abstract and mixed media paintings as well as "stream of consciousness" style writing. Created during a time of intense economic stress, the video acted as a concentrated snap shot of my workspace and scattered mind set I found myself in.
IN BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH
The video here attempts to document my 2015 installation "In Between Life and Death". The installation comprised of a video showing parts of Brighton in various states of decay alongside an intense industrial soundtrack. The installation was intended to be a full sensory experience, to achieve this, decomposing meat and bones were placed in a hidden a compartment within the room, filling the space with a putrefying stench.
